Carolina Isaacs Abril
NLP Coach, personal and organisational development consultant, and artistic soul.
Hi, I'm Carolina, originally from Pamplona and now based in Santander, mother of two teenagers and living many lives in one: business, theatre, personal development, teaching, writing, innovation… I support processes of change in individuals and organisations who want to live and work with greater coherence, depth and purpose. In Auroras Personal Development integrates two worlds that for a long time were kept apart: on the one hand, my “rational” training (MBA, coaching, NLP (neurolinguistic programming), leadership, organisational consulting, philosophy) and, on the other, my sensitivity, intuition and creative world. Today, my work draws on both with greater awareness: intuition, depth and action for a life that is more truly yours.
Where I come from
Company, teams and people
Although from Pamplona, we always spent our weekends in the country, and there I had an enormous privilege: time, a great deal of time in nature, with the earthworms, flowers, insects, fruit trees, the fireplace and the swimming pool, the village festivals, running errands at the machinery workshops and the hardware store, the summer storms and the afternoon naps on the sofa with my father until the next sibling took over. There are seven of us children. And that leaves its mark, too.
English father, Valencian mother; he loved going to mass, she loved the *chintachintas* and the Fallas; he loved the countryside and supporting educational teams, she loved bold conversations, humour and politics. Within me, a great deal of them lives on: faith, the joy of the street parades, my vocation for support, humour, and my vocation to make this world a better place for everyone.
For years my professional life revolved mostly around the world of business and organisations. I studied Advertising and PR at the University of Navarra and years later an MBA at the University of Cantabria, I worked for years in marketing and advertising, both agency- and client-side, I trained as a coach (NLP Coach), I work with models such as The Leadership Circle and I have been supporting individuals and teams since 2011, both in my practice and in companies from various sectors, ranging from social organisations to IBEX companies. It has taken me time to decipher this koan in every one of my cells.
I have worked with the most wonderful women, teaching staff, healthcare personnel, managers, the self-employed, students, people going through professional and personal transition… and I have seen at close quarters how the way we relate to ourselves and our surroundings impacts our health, our relationships and our sense of worth. This journey gives me a very solid foundation for understanding the context of the people I work with: studies, master's degrees, responsibilities, teams, deadlines… and, at the same time, a life that is asking for something else.
Intuition, body and subtle world
Alongside all this, I have always been a sensitive and intuitive person. Over time, rather than keeping that side to myself (how to explain?), I decided to train and give it a conscious place: intuition, psychism, energy work, dream interpretation, even mediumship.
I have learned to listen to information that arrives through less obvious channels than the rational mind, to distinguish it from fear or fantasy, and to put it at the service of the personal development of the people I accompany. It is not a matter of “divining”, but of fine-tuning listening and perception: of the body, of symbols, of dreams, of what sometimes cannot be put into words but is felt with greater or lesser clarity.
Scene, writing and projects
Another important pillar of who I am is the creative one. I have published books and created stage projects such as MoonRise, a theatrical monologue with musical notes where I explore stories of change, fear, humour and hope. I am crazy about getting on stage, singing, playing the piano and the guitar, painting with watercolours and reading—a lot of—non-fiction and fiction.
For me, art and personal development are deeply connected: the stage, the page or the canvas are places where new ways of being in the world are rehearsed, where we can share what we carry inside by digesting it and transforming it into something more beautiful. That perspective also runs through my way of accompanying: we don't just seek to “solve problems”, but to open up more vibrant and authentic ways of being in your own life.
My way of accompanying
How I work with you
I am not a psychologist or a medical doctor, nor do I absolve sins. I am a companion on your development journey who asks questions, listens, does not judge, proposes playing seriously with tenderness and hope, offers another perspective and holds the process with you and by your side.
My way of working is:
- Approachable and honest: I say what I see can help my clients with care and creativity. Of course, trust and confidentiality are fundamental pillars.
- Deep and practical: we dive into the depths, we dream, yes... And then, with our feet back on the ground, thinking about your real life (work, family, money, time...), the clients make progress.
- Integrator: I let your mind, your intuition, your body and your biography sit at the same table, so that the decision isn't made by just one part of you.
I believe in responsibility, in commitment to oneself, to Life and in the real possibility of living with greater coherence, even in complex contexts when life does not make it easy.
What matters to me
- That we may live lives that are more like who we are, and less like what is expected of us.
- May sensitivity, intuition and critical thinking be able to coexist, especially in highly educated and self-demanding women.
- May work be a place to grow, to develop our potential, where we can play our part in leaving a better place for all human beings, and not just somewhere to wear ourselves out.
- May looking after ourselves not just be a slogan, but a concrete practice: in the body, in the diary, in our relationships.
I have faith in life, in the courage to change direction when something no longer fits, and in our creativity to find new ways of being in the world.

The Auroras
Aurora Interior, a very special, carefully planned and personalized session where the dance with life takes center stage to bring you closer to your truth with love and humor.
You do the hardest thing of all… Reserve a day for you and just for you. You and I will work together for about 3 hours, with a rhythm in the activities we do that you will feel like a dance within you as things happen that we could say ‘magical’, that can happen to everyone if we give it the space it needs…
